Facebook were doing this thing where particularly teenage girls, this is really messed up.
You know, if you like post a photo and then you delete it after a little while.
I would kind of do that if like when I was a teenager, if I didn't get more than say two likes.
A dirty delete.
And so...
Facebook targeted teenage girls who they maybe noticed that they posted something and then deleted it.
It could be anything, but usually it's like a picture of themselves.
They're like, oh, I actually don't like it anymore.
And then they will be flooded with ads about weight loss, about a dead ass.
I'm so serious.
And skincare products, all this kind of stuff.
And so targeting like vulnerable young women, men or people who are just like
not feeling good about themselves.
And they knew that.
