Vance had to.
Vance grew up with a mother that was an opiate addict, and it had a great impact on him.
And they were beneficiaries of food stamps, aka SNAP.
And it's amazing to me because I remember when Obama ran against John McCain and he spoke about health care and he spoke about his mother and that she was sitting getting cancer treatments with file cabinets like little bins, going through all of the loopholes of the insurance, trying to figure out if she could get the care that she needed, the chemo that she needed, how much it would cover.
It left an impression on him that while she's trying to get better slash dying,
she had to navigate through this horrific healthcare and the inhumanity of that and the injustice of that.
And Kinks has never had to experience that.
Howard Nutlick has never had to experience that.
Stephen Miller has never had to experience that.
But to my thesis that capitulating to Trump makes you a worse person, JD Vance knows exactly what it's like to be poor and, um,
addicted or, you know, things didn't fall your way.
And he turns his back on all of those people because Peter Thiel made him a millionaire and he goes and sells working class people that he grew up around down the river.
And Obamacare is far from perfect, but just a personal story that I can share with you all of how much Obamacare affects
affected my family so my husband was an opiate addict and the first time he went to treatment it was really expensive and insurance didn't cover it and we put it on a credit card and it took me forever to be able to pay that off we were young and broke and we had a baby
And then he relapsed and a lot of people that are drug addicts relapse.
And it was so painful.
It was one of the most painful things I've ever been through.
But when he relapsed, Obamacare had come through and Obamacare mandated that insurance companies had to pay
for drug rehab because it was a disease.
