His work was really good early in spring.
We'll look forward to getting him back.
he knows that's a part of his game that he can excel in.
And I think he's gotten a lot of feedback about, you know, what it takes to excel in that spot.
He's got a new voice here in, in bees that, you know, we think will be really helpful for him.
Bees has been around a lot of good, you know, great outfielders in his career and he's got that insight.
Um, so we're looking forward to getting O'Neill back when they're done and continuing that work.
Um,
It was cool.
I was at Pirate City the other night when he hit the home run, and there was a group of like 60 guys watching the game down where the pool tables are, and it's just like you could hear an eruption through the entire building.
It was cool.
So I look forward to seeing him doing that in the Pirate Team form.
First of all, as far as I'm concerned, Andrew will always be a pirate.
I think most people feel that way.
I certainly speak for the organization and that's how we feel, no matter what.
Andrew's a pirate, and certainly our desire will be to continue to have a really strong relationship with him into the future, whatever that looks like.
At the beginning of the offseason, when we spoke, what I shared was that, you know, we felt like we needed to go into the offseason with a singular mindset, and that was, you know, what puts this team in the best position to win more games in 2026?
really focus on that, be singularly focused on the team.
And that as we did that work, we would do the best we could to continue to share information with him about what that looked like.
And we did the best we could to do that.
