There's a tradeoff.
If you have 25 home runs, that pays.
It's a value of what you're looking for in terms of what you're trying to execute offensively.
If you're looking for a guy that's going to hit 25 to 30 home runs, but willing to have 125 to 130 strikeouts versus pushing contact and that type of stuff.
But yes, I do think if you chase that...
as a sole entity, then it's going to come with a little more boom and bust, is my guess.
And so in situations when you're facing really good relievers and man on third and less than two outs and contact is what's valued, I'm sure that is going to tilt in the favor of the pitcher.
I don't know.
I mean, contact ability, ability to get on base, see pitches, grind at bats.
Yeah, none of that comes with exit velocity, so I'm sure that there's some undervaluedness to that.
It's probably easier for us to see objective exit velocity from an evaluation standpoint.
Like Perdomo is a great example for us.
He doesn't hit the ball very hard.
He's one of the best players in baseball.
Thank you.
Do you ever have a lot of everything?
I mean, that's the lesson learned from the postseason.
What?
A little of everything.
No.
