And I know there was some shot luck.

You know, you mentioned Dylan Harper and Seth Castle, both sub 30% shooters, each with three or four against the Rockets.

Spurs 21 to 40 overall.

I mean, even if we take it down by, say, 12 points, eliminate four of those threes, that's still 132 points.

I mean, they just crush you in that game.

So even if we account a little bit for the shot luck, and I do think the Spurs got really good looks, I

the Rockets were still shredded defensively.

They just looked in a different league athletically and unable to stop guys in the perimeter.

With Shingun, there's not really a rim protector.

And so, you know, I get the reservations about Giannis.

I wouldn't, you know, I'm not closed off to the idea, but beyond just the fan experience,

There's also something we said for shortening the timeline.

And look, if you go all in for Giannis and it doesn't work out and you see the Spurs and the Thunder, it's a reminder of how high the bar is.

Well, you give up all those assets and you could be in an even worse spot three years from now, but without future draft capital to do other things.

So...

I get the hesitation there.

But I also think that it's not the only move you could make.

Like, sure, you could consider a big-time deal if the right guy comes available.

Maybe it's Giannis.

Maybe it's someone else this offseason to try and get you to that next level by the fall.
