And for me personally...
it's hard for me to nitpick someone who's hitting 340 and and who's getting on base almost half the time you know especially it's magnified i think the slug right now because addison barger is not there right now george springer returning today but has not been in the lineup for a little bit and those two guys are providing a lot of the slug that you would have in your lineup so when they're out sometimes i and i get it from people you want more slug from vlad and
And the expectation for him is to hit more home runs than he's hit so far this year.
But it's not like in some previous years where he started out of the gate slow.
I don't think he started slow.
He's just doing it a different way right now.
It's still a way that helps you score a lot of runs.
know we've had a lot of loud ovations this year but man that was there was there were a lot of people that were really really happy to see trey savage coming out of that bullpen yeah he's he's almost as popular as it gets around toronto and i and i think it's it's obvious why with what he did in the postseason last year but there's you know vlad is kind of in his own world and then when you talk about the the next most popular tier i mean i might forget someone forgive me if i do
I think George Springer is right there.
I think Ernie Clement these days is in that mix.
Kevin Gosman probably.
I think Trey Savage is right in the middle of that.
And obviously he hasn't been with the team for the same amount of time.
But I think people love what he did, love the potential of what he could do.
For the Blue Jays, because the rotation really since the first turn, when you see Cody Ponce go down, has been in flux for so much of the year.
I think for so many fans, it was so exciting to have a positive change in the rotation.
You're finally getting someone back.
You savage yesterday, not in the rotation, but Springer activated today.
I feel like it was a sign to people that the Blue Jays, they remember, are starting to become that Blue Jays team again.
That's a great question.
