Well, let's pick up from what you were just saying in your question.

The statement from Dmitry Medvedev is that what President Trump, both with the sanctions on the oil, but also the cancelling of the bilateral in Hungary, which is actually cancelled by Russia, not President Trump.

Trump.

He said that that's a declaration of war.

Medvedev is probably one of the most hard line of the key Russian political players.

That is absolutely for sure.

And he makes President Putin in comparison look...

quite like a moderate, and he represents that hardline nationalist sentiment politically.

But he is incredibly trusted by President Putin.

How trusted by President Putin is he?

Well, when Putin, for constitutional reasons, was required to stand down from the presidency a few years ago and assume exactly the same real powers as prime minister, he handed over the notional office of the presidency to Medvedev himself.

He's definitely on the hard right flank.
