Why would we fund the sick people? Because that's not the way health works. You could be healthy today and sick tomorrow. And also we should be able to address helping sick people. One of the fundamental things, a fundamental right, I believe, in a country is having healthcare. That's my own view. It's pretty much every country in the world other than the United States.
So MAGA, if you have a better plan though, bring it to the American people. No gimmicks, lay it out. Not, oh, it's coming in two weeks, it's two weeks. Have a serious plan. So I actually had the opportunity to grab dinner last night with the Democratic leader, Hakeem Jeffries. And I think we may have a photo of he and I together. And I left that dinner.
HÀn tuntuu erittÀin hyvÀltÀ, ettÀ hÀn vaihtaa. Voi vaihtaa. Amerikkalaisille. Esimerkiksi tÀmÀn asian kanssa. Ja nÀemme hÀnet vaihtamaan Amerikkalaisille ja sanoen, ettÀ minÀ en saa... MinÀ en saa niitÀ republikaanilmoituksia vahvistamaan. Olemme kÀsittelemÀssÀ nyt. SiellÀ olemme yhdessÀ. Olemme kÀsittelemÀssÀ nyt. Kuulostaa hyvÀltÀ. Kuulostaa hyvÀltÀ, Ben.
KyllÀ, se on hieno kysymys. KiitÀn sitÀ. HÀn oli syönyt, Ben, sanon. KyllÀ. Se on se, mitÀ tarvitaan. Se on se, mitÀ tarvitaan. TÀssÀ me olemme nyt. Kuten sanoin aiemmin, tÀmÀ on ongelma, joka psykologisesti rikottaa amerikkalaisia. TÀmÀ on heidÀn terveydenhuoltaan. Ihmiset nÀkevÀt, ettÀ pÀÀtökset tulevat ulos. EnrollointipÀivÀ on tapahtunut.
I can't afford to buy this healthcare. I can't afford to enroll without the subsidies. What do I do? This is real stuff. This requires leadership. This requires compromise. This requires actually getting things done. And the theme of this episode is that this current regime, it's not just woefully unable to meet the moment.
They are the ones, affirmatively, inflicting the pain in this moment. Brett. Well said, Ben. The one thing I'll just add before we wrap up, because I think we covered a whole lot on this episode,
I think all those labels, I think they're bullshit. And I think you see also how these other networks often use those labels in order to divide, in order to signal to their viewers that what you're about to see, you should not trust, you should mock, you should laugh at. As we saw in that Fox clip of Jordi, when they said, and now let me show you what those guys at the crazy leftist podcast, the Midas Touch podcast are talking about. Look at the ridiculous stuff that they're saying. And Jordi said something that's incredibly logical and intelligent, and they're the ones who look insane and ridiculous. But they
They put that word there, they throw the leftist word there, they throw that in to signal to their viewers, don't treat these people like they're human, essentially. So I think it's important as we move forward, you know, that we continue to root all of our coverage here in our shared humanity, and that the folks who are listening to this podcast come from a variety of different backgrounds, and that, you know, I think one of the reasons that people come from a variety of different backgrounds, I get emails every day, comments every day from people who say, I'm a Republican, I want nothing to do with
I voted for Trump in the past. I voted for Trump three times. I don't know what the heck I was thinking. You get people who are as far left, left, left as you could be. You get people who consider themselves moderates, who consider themselves centralized. Whatever the labels are that people want to give themselves or what people want to place on people,
but continue to lead with empathy continue to lead with humanity and to me that's how we are going to continue to grow this community and that's how at the end of the day this community of pro-democracy pro-humanity is going to win jordi i'll let you say some final words or feel free to sign us off shout out to the mightiest mighty
Kiitos, ettÀ katsoitte.
