And I say this and my wife sometimes disagrees with me.

So I'll give her a shout out.

Um,

I say, I really don't actually like politics.

And she's like, what are you talking about?

You love politics.

That's all you do all day.

I said, I hear you, but I don't like the politicians.

I mean, I interview them.

I find it the dynamic to be fascinating.

But early on after COVID, as I started kind of getting into it,

And I thought, well, why am I interested in this?

And I assumed, okay, well, you have to be very political if you wanna be talking in this space.

And then I realized why I wasn't political all my life, why I was a civil rights lawyer.

And I represented Democrats, Republicans, independents.

Look, I practiced law for a lot of years.

Most of my cases were in Bakersfield in Kern County.

And if you know about that area,

I could pretty much assure you that a lot of my clients probably ended up becoming MAGA at some point, or they were Republican at that time or Tea Party people.

But I'll tell you what, when the Bakersfield police or the Kern County sheriffs, or if you go a little further up to the next county in Fresno, when there was a police shooting and they came to me for help, the people, whether they were Republican or Democrat or an independent, I never asked.
