So I would say temporarily reduce the leverage if you can.
That's the only answer I really have.
Yeah, I thought, you know, as this has gone on and Spencer Miles has just added more and more innings, I kind of think that...
this is where the test is really getting real for him.
And it's not to say that he wasn't up for it, because he was still throwing 95, like the fastball was there.
He was still throwing his breaking balls, and they seemed to have the movement that you would expect on them.
I also thought that the Orioles, like Basayo in particular, went off the plate to get a couple of those pitches that weren't necessarily horrible pitches, that he just hung middle-middle.
So...
not to make excuses for the guy, but I think there were a couple of things going on.
One, I do think there is the fatigue element of just uncharted territory.
And then two, I think some of the Orioles hitters did a good job against him to make it so that, you know, his line probably looked worse than it was.
Whereas like Hayden Yanger comes in, walks to the first three hitters he faces.
I'm not going to make excuses for him, but for Spencer miles, I'm inclined to say that it was a couple of things just going in the wrong direction at once.
Yeah, I think that's fair.
And when you look at the rotation as a whole, you have Kevin Gosman, great.
Then you have two rookies.
Then you have Patrick Corbin.
Then you have TBD.
This is not the way they drew it up.
And of course, Trey Savage's rookies go.
