And every summer, it would be like this tradition.
I don't know how it came about, but I would just find all these baseball novels and I'd read them throughout the summer.
And it was just so fun.
And
And little by little, I started writing a baseball novel, which I told you about.
And I was talking, I got an agent for the book.
And like, okay, well, how can we just continue to grow and grow my audience?
And she's like, well, just do something that you love, that you can do consistently.
And I had done a history podcast previously, like deep research, talking to academics, experts.
And so I'm like, well, I really love baseball.
I want to try to do something that other people aren't doing.
Um, I love, uh, deep research podcasts.
Like, I don't know if you know, hardcore history with Dan Carlin.
It's just so, there's so much research and I, there's so much depth, but also the perspectives.
So that's what I wanted to try to do with baseball.
And so midnight library of baseball is, uh, it's quiet and it's, um,
trying to come at stories from a different perspective, like Freakonomics or Malcolm Gladwell, you know, helping somebody look at maybe a known story from a different angle, like Lou Gehrig, you know.
Everybody knows Lou Gehrig is the Iron Horse and he's hard and tough.
But, you know, when I did research into him, I found that, you know, he didn't even...
