According to Politico, a federal judge has now thrown out a DOJ grand jury subpoena aimed at Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and his allies, calling them an abusive and retaliatory process to punish Walz based on his refusal to assist the president's immigration crackdown.

District Judge Patrick Schultz said there was no doubt the subpoenas were issued to damage Walls.

Now, remember, the original criminal investigation was into the Minnesota government for helping to facilitate resistance to ICE.

Tim Walls, of course, trying to proclaim himself a constitutional hero.

He put out a statement suggesting today's ruling is a victory for the rule of law in our democracy.

Yes, nothing says rule of law like you praising and fostering people legitimately attempting to obstruct law enforcement efforts.
