Hey, I'm out of the office today, but I wanted you to hear a speech I just gave at the University of Austin about the death of our institutions, why that matters, why it's breaking apart our politics.
I think it's pretty interesting and I think important stuff.

First of all, it's an honor and a pleasure to be here at one of the most important institutions in America, University of Austin.
It takes tremendous innovation, creativity, and courage to put together a brand new institution dedicated to the restoration of what a university was originally supposed to be.
And the people at University of Austin are, I think, maybe the only people in the country who had the balls to do it, so good for them.
Well, today I want to talk a little bit about why we seem to hate each other so much here in the United States.
I want to talk about why we are obsessed with conspiracies and steeped in anger and apparently ready to spend large segments of our day fulminating on the internet about people we don't know on topics that we know nothing about.
And the simple answer is the failure of our institutions.
