Yeah.
Oh, it's a joke.
But when I was in school, I used to reference Wikipedia in a lot of my research papers.
Yeah.
I think maybe back then it wasn't as bad.
I'm not sure.
Or maybe I was just brainwashed with public education.
I don't know which one.
It could be both.
It could be that you thought it was a real source, but at one point it was a good source.
And you know it was a good source at one point because at one point you were told not to trust it.
Remember early on when you were in school, you were told you could never use Wikipedia as a source because it can't be trusted.
Why?
Because anybody can post there.
And then all of a sudden, after a few years, and really around 2015, 2016, 2017, Wikipedia becomes completely co-opted.
And now it becomes like this authoritative source that you can go to and you can trust this.
Why?
Because...
government agencies and NGOs and all those groups funded it.
They got into it and they got control of it.
