No, or you can, here, here's a crazy one.
you could tell Israel, hey, stop blackmailing us, okay?
We've made progress in a negotiation and why don't you hold off?
until we figure this out, because there may be another solution.
Or how about this?
If you thought that you couldn't do that, and we were about to go to war, maybe, just maybe, you address the American people, or maybe you go through what is required in the Constitution.
You go to Congress, you get authorization, you make the case about why this war is necessary.
And then after the war, they said, we are doing this for regime change.
It's exactly what it's regime change.
And then when it was clear that after they killed the Ayatollah, that
as everybody predicted, as we've been saying, they're just gonna find another Ayatollah.
I mean, the Ayatollah was the spiritual leader of 300 million Shiites in the region, right?
There are hundreds of thousands of people in senior positions who would want to have the Ayatollah role.
So if you kill the Ayatollah and you make him a martyr in the community of the 300 million Shiites in the region,
They're just going to now find someone more extreme.
And I think more significantly as well, the nation of Iran,
was actually moving and progressing with a younger population towards slowly, but towards democracy or towards at least reforms and towards changes.
The Ayatollah was 85 years old, 86 years old.
So the Ayatollah wasn't gonna be around for a long time anyway.
We saw earlier in the year with the protests that were taking place, that there was a hunger and a thirst to change the regime.
