Iran hasn't requested a pause on energy site strikes, mediators say.

This is some of the latest that's out there from the Wall Street Journal.

Despite today's announcement by Donald Trump, Iran has not requested a 10-day pause on strikes against its energy plans from the United States and is yet to deliver a final response to the Trump administration's 15-point plan to end the war, peace talk mediators tell the Wall Street Journal.

is made much more difficult when donald trump goes and makes statements like that that aren't true for the mediator to then try to go and convince iran to even have a conversation with the media there in the first place because iran's last experience with the mediator was one picked by the united states oman's foreign minister who after reaching basically a mediated resolution

which would have resulted in more technical talks on the first week of March.
