Iran's foreign minister is speaking with the UN Secretary General and saying that preventing the passage of vessels linked to adversaries is Iran's legal right.

He said the current insecurity in the Strait of Hormuz is the result of lawlessness and aggression by US and Israel.

Right now, Iran's ambassador to the UN sent letters to the Secretary General and Security Council protesting Gulf states, allowing their territory and airspace to be used for US and Israel attacks, according to Iran's IRGC-linked Fars news agency.
