They basically said or assumed that he got tackled by a police commissaire, a gendarmerie on a motorbike to the side of the road.
what i've been told that did not happen from what i've been told he stopped by the side of the road the gendarmerie stopped by his side and actually he was like he was probably mentally done after the sq being this cute so many times he was crying by the side of the road to come the gendarmerie consoled him is the story i've been told and i've also been told by one source that the medical car stopped for the same reason at that same spot not sure about that one
My conclusion, I'll give it to you in a second, Patrick.
Sorry for yapping for a while.
My conclusion is Jan Willem van Schip is a writer that is different than others in terms of his looking for marginal gains.
I don't think he's a bad person for that.
I do think he's broken a few rules along the way, especially with that beat-on fairing that he shouldn't have done.
But he shouldn't be getting insulted for it in the way that he's being done right now.
And I can't tell you whether he's being targeted by the UCI or anything.
It seems like they're looking at him more than at other riders.
That's what I can notice.
I think that's sad for the team.
I think that's sad for the rider.
I think partially the fault of the rider a little bit as well because he shouldn't be breaking that beat on fairing rules, for example.
I don't know.
I think it's a whole sad situation.
It barely didn't happen.
It didn't happen, yeah.
he's not going to win sorry like he's but on the other hand it's like it's also probably unfair what's some of what's happened to him um i it's harsh because i i somewhat want to come out and say like i think jan willem van schip can win a stage at the ronde de loise with a completely normal setup but i don't want to force him to use a normal setup if
He believes that he's right in certain ways.
