Because she used to actually joke around with me.
She was my field training officer for a while.
And she would even ask me questions.
She was like, are you sure you just love men?
Like, I feel like I'm like, oh, I feel like I'm being seen right now.
I'm like, yeah, love men.
My absolute favorite.
And she's like, it's actually really nice on this corner and this side.
And she would make jokes.
Like, if she would share a drink from me, she was like, are you afraid you're going to catch it?
I'm like, catch what?
And I'm like, oh.
Now you're making fun of it.
But it was a great experience to have her in my life because she opened my eyes of, hey, I can be myself and be the most badass woman ever because that's all I want to be.
I want to be badass.
I want to pave the way for other women to follow.
I want to be in rooms that technically people don't think I belong in and walk in that room like it's mine.
