And in working this homicide, people have choices.
It's a choice whether you want to be a witness or you want to be a defendant.
She's in high school and lives with her mother and brother.
And as she's questioned about the night of the murder, she's alone in the room with detectives.
You tell me what's the truth and you tell me that's the truth and I'm going to take it like that.
But I do want you to know that some people are going to be witnesses, some are going to be defendants.
