I wonder if that's also what's happening with talent, with tech talent.

Like, are they just trading the same people?

Are new people coming in?

Or are they just trading the same people all around?

Because there's a limit of the top experienced talent, because how can you be experienced in this as a new person more than three or four years, right?

And on that note, let's get to segment two, because we're actually a segmented show some of the time and perhaps more of the time as we move forward.

This segment I have called Shipmas or Nah.

Because at this time last year, Shipmas was already being hyped.

We knew that something was coming.

There was a buzz about it.

Shipmas was announced on December 4th and it started on December 5th.

So it is seeming like there is perhaps not a ship-miss happening from OpenAI this year.

There have been discussions in one of the OpenAI dev forums, and it seemed like they were considering it, but also there seemed to be leaks from the devs at OpenAI saying, please, no.

That's like really hard to get everything together to do all of it.

And it's right before the holiday.

So that's the first piece of information.

The second piece of information is this leak-ish of words.

Altman's Code Red memo, which seemed to be in response, and it's an internal memo, seemed to be in response to Google and Gemini taking over the top leaderboards of their things.
