They're having some success now, but that's also part of it.
Who were your leaders, not just in the locker room, but as an organization?
And what direction was the organization trending?
And you can go through a list of trades they obviously had to make to send players out.
But just generally speaking, did it feel like that was a good culture of a franchise?
And that to me speaks to also what direction this team needs to go in.
Because you need to find...

All that stuff matters right now, going into this next era of whatever the Canucks are going to be, and Jim Rutherford still continues here, but how long will that continue?
So you're going to need big leaders to tackle not just a job of a rebuild, but to tackle a job of what this all is, that you have a fan base that is that active.
Calling in, emailing in, voicing their opinion.
You need someone that's going to be able to handle all of that.
And even though there's history in a Canadian market, I look at, okay, what was the culture set?
Are you capable of taking on the huge task that is being the primary voice of this team?
You're the prominent name, and then not just, like, the water gets thrown at it.
And I do think there's exciting candidates, too.
