I learned so much watching Cheech, watching Shorty, watching Murph, that you felt it was a privilege to do this.
You felt that they felt like they were the luckiest people in the world to have a chance to call these games and have fun doing so.
And it never felt like a chore.
It never felt like this is something that they had to do and get through and punch the clock and go home.
It was genuinely something they enjoyed doing.
And there was this graciousness about it as well.
And I think that's something that I always took away from Cheech.
Well, and I think that's the thing too.
And we were talking to Cuthbert about this and
how Cheech worked with so many different broadcasters, but he had chemistry with pretty much anybody.
And I'd go beyond that.
You know how sometimes just even in conversations, you meet somebody or you talk to somebody randomly and you just kind of have an easy conversation.
Sometimes it's a little bit awkward.
It doesn't kind of go well or whatever it is.
Cheech was one of those people that only, you know, professionally, I think no matter who he interacted with, it was as if he knew you from childhood.
It's like he knew who you were.
He gave you the time.
He looked you in the eyes.
You were just so comfortable and relaxed at all times.
He made you feel like you were an important individual, even if he didn't know you.
