I don't think in any situation, unless you're a team that's on the verge of winning a cup and you have one of the best coaches, we should be choosing the coach over a foundational young piece that's going to be a top pick in the draft.
But I think it depends on the situation.
I think when you're picking high in the draft, like to me, there's no coach who's worth you bypassing the best talent in the top 10 of a draft.
But that's also relative.
