You can put him without stress on the power play.
He's one of the best net front guys in the league.
And he's scored a ton of goals these past two years on the power play.
And for teams that are looking for any sort of power play boost, you can put him out there and it's like, hey, we're going to get 15 goals just on the power play.
Not just from him, but also, okay, what does he open up for everyone else?
When you've had as much success as he had the past couple of years, okay, you might lose some play driving five on five, but are you actually getting raw production, which he's done these past two years here?
And it's like a huge credit to him because, you know, when he came in, there was a lot of questions from, like, what his time at Boston was, can he score independently?
He hasn't had a lot of service 5-on-5.
He's been a mixed bag of centers.
Obviously, we've talked about Elias Pettersson's struggles the last couple of years.
He didn't even get the benefit of that.
And he's popped into 20-goal seasons.
And when you have 14 and 19 power play goals these last two years, that's going to get noticed across the league.
So I think at the very least, because you're insulated with that, the elements of missing out, because I think Conor Garland's got a lot of fans in this city of how hard he worked, the compete level, the play-driving ability.
Whereas I don't know if we ever got a chance to see the best of Jake DeBrus because there was no natural five-on-five center for him.
