You know, he's that sort of man.
And I said, well, anyway.
But he was an extraordinary individual, Gerard.
Extraordinary.
And we've got to acknowledge the struggle and the...
support he's had from Jan and Beck and Loz and Ben and Luke, you know, the family, they've spent 10 or 12 years living, knowing your father and your husband's going to die at some point and living through that and such support they've given him is, you know, we should never forget that.
They need to be absolutely applauded.
Well, I think he's going to be remembered as a man who,
faced total adversity and took it head on and refused to give in and I think that's a legacy that we can all learn from because the world every day in our lives we all face adversity that's a fact and we can all learn from Neil's ability just to look that head on stare it down and say bagger it I'm going to get on with it I'm going to live my life I'm going to live it to the fullest I'm going to
do the best I can, and I'm going to try and make a difference in one of the most horrific diseases ever in the world.
And we will get a cure one day, and one day we'll all be able to bow our heads and look up to heaven and thank Neil.
I mean, it's quite funny, not funny, but...
I was talking to Bec yesterday, Bec down there, and it's almost as though Neil planned this perfectly.
So he's passed away, he's given everybody a two-week lead time into the game.
It's almost right to the end, Neil was a meticulous planner.
It's almost like he sort of said, okay, that'll do, they'll give him two weeks.
to get this organised, get 100,000 people to the game, sell more beanies.
And we should get 100,000.
I hope we do.
