They go on to say that the current landscape is unsustainable, and the problem isn't management, it's structural.
The math no longer works, and it's treading water is not a long-term plan.
The letter asked for three solutions, Matt.
Congressional action to create uniform national NIL rules and legal protections.
A governing body that can actually govern, whether that's a strengthened NCAA or something new.
And third, a hard and enforceable spending cap modeled after professional sports leagues to slow an escalating financial arms race.

Probably these politicians need to look at the greater good when they're deciding because there are going to be a lot of universities with a lot of non-revenues generating revenue.
