They walked around Nome trying to pay someone to drop them off.

They just found a guy.

They found a guy who would drop them off.

At this point, we have the four men, Ada, the cat named Vic, seven definitely well-trained sled dogs, and they're all gonna be on Wrangell Island for a year until another ship comes to relieve them.

So they stop in Siberia along the way and they try to hire a few more native people who are like, absolutely not, no way, that's way too dangerous.

They try to buy a skin boat.
