So he was at – and both were asked about week one, and Mahomes was actually asked twice about it.

And, you know, the answer was, you know, everything he's doing is focusing on being the guy week one.

Now, he – that's a little softer than the last time.

The timeline for this injury tells you that that would be something of an upset, right?

Because it's typically close to a year recovery, 10 months to a year type of recovery, and this would be less than that, right?

But ahead of schedule, every time you talk to somebody, the Chiefs, he's ahead of schedule, and he's the most determined guy.

And teammates who have been around him have said, you know, the guy is just amazing.

Now, today, he was the quarterback during seven-on-seven drills, but he was not the quarterback with more players on the field, 11-on-11.

The idea is, you know, at least with seven-on-seven, it's purely passing.

He's not moving much.

and he's not going to get clipped by a jet sweep or something like that in 11-on-11.

So that was Justin Fields.

So when it was for a complete team, more of the type of team that you would see on opening night, Justin Fields was the quarterback today.

Now...

months to go, weeks and months to go before that decision has to be made.

My guess is Justin Fields will end up emerging from OTAs, still ahead on the depth chart, will start training camp that way, and maybe we'll see sometime at St.
