And they lost and then didn't lose again, right, for the rest of the year.

So he's an amazing guy who has done amazing things.

This might be one of those moments where he runs out on opening night at Arrowhead and the place will be bananas.

for them you think like a not a contingency but yeah um yeah i do i think they they begin to because of before mahomes was hurt that offense was struggling last year that was not vintage chiefs offense that was at times really hard to watch um terrible on third down terrible in the clutch um

You know, the best thing they had going for them last year was Kareem Hunt on third and one, fourth and one.

But wide receiver group was not good.

So, yeah, I think they would have been prepared to change or at least alter their offensive identity a little bit by signing a player like Kenneth Walker.

The fact that they got the best player on the field during the Super Bowl, you know, that...

And they're paying him, right?

Yeah.

But I didn't know this until I heard it the other day.

The Chiefs running back room is still like the 23rd or 22nd paid running back room in the NFL, even with Walker's contract.

So...

Yeah, I do think that, which is a smart move on the Chiefs' part.

Not only do you get a player who's pretty talented, who if you watch the Super Bowl, as I was watching the Super Bowl thinking, God, I wish the Chiefs did more of that.
