I'm like, I got to go. My dad's calling me. I answer the phone. It's the last conversation I ever had with my father.

So I got up with Tim Lapardus, who was my dad's really good friend growing up, who's an attorney there, represented me for free. He helped me figure out a solution out. So I did some smart things while my dad was in the hospital, right? Because he needed my help. Nobody else could help him except for me. I made him sign his social security checks over to my house.

All of his retirement money went to my mailbox in North Carolina. So she didn't have access to it anymore. And if he did that, I would buy him dinner while he was in the hospital. I'd help take care of him. I'd clean his house, do whatever he needed me to do. Well, he did all this. And I was like, okay, I have an advantage here. She won't get any money for dope. It's the end of the month.
