But guys that are playing that many minutes, you can't work them that much in season. Like, you just can't. So, like, maybe in the offseason they put together a program. Maybe they send a guy out with them when he goes back home, something like that. But, like, in the season, like, guys playing 38 minutes a night. Like, you want them to get extra cardio in on the off days? It's not realistic.

There was only a couple guys. I was like, man, those guys are just freaks, like absolute freaks, like just strong. My issue was never like not lifting enough. I lifted. I did all that stuff. I just think as long as you are doing what you're supposed to be doing, like however you get to it.

Now, a team that that absolutely does have an effect on like if a team's going to give you a five year contract. Right. If you don't if you don't take care of yourself the right way, you don't eat right. You're you're you know, you're just you're kind of a mess. Like a team's not going to like invest five years in you. So that's where it can hurt.

But like if you're just like a guy who's, you know, getting two year deal, three year deal, whatever it is, like I think teams are more willing to just be like, hey, you you you get there however you get there. You we will have certain things that you need to do. But, you know, my my lifts are going to be different than somebody else's lifts.

yeah and and part of that is having done these things over and over again but also part of that like one of my pre-game routines was i would sit and i would just like i would go through like what i would call like a highlight reel of what i wanted to to do that game and some of i would start with the jump ball i would literally just close my eyes and i would start with like a jump ball i would see myself were you in the jump ball no uh no because i i but i was always visualizations about other people

Wow, that was really nice. I'm on the bench the whole time. Man, this is cool. But I had my same spot during the jump ball every time. So I would start there, and I'd see myself getting down. I see going down for the first offensive possession. I know what the first play is already because we walked through it and shoot around earlier. I know defensively what my assignments are.
