Do you have a anti CGI trailer sentiment at all?
I feel like, you know, we always kind of give โ
opposite opinions as far as what we want slash what we don't want hey i want transparency in terms of the games we're working on why is the video games industry so secretive right like when a new movie is greenlit we know from variety or deadline or whoever like the moment that like the moment you get that signature on the paper that shit gets announced or whatever and i think we often ask for that transparency you know and you know for us to do away with so much of the secrecy but at the same time it's like well video games take a long time to make so if you want your cake like
You know, you got to be able to come into it with that expectation of the reality of how video games are made.
And I think, you know, I think there is space for both.
I think it just depends on the game.
I think some games kind of, you know, warrant that amount of hype and expectation.
A Witcher 4, for example.
I'll wait for Witcher 4.
You announce, you show me.
You can give me Siri on that cinematic teaser and I'm in.
And I'm like, oh man, someday we're going to play Witcher 4 and I'm excited about that shit.
But then other times it's like, hey, saying a game is out now,
That's fucking exciting.
Hi-Fi Rush, you can play it right now.
That was the right thing for that game, right?
Like, I think there's levels to this shit.
Every game kind of warrants its own marketing cycle.
And you manage your own expectation.
You manage your own hype.
