And it's what you talk about too, of like,
Andy Robinson, Jordan Middler, Andy Robinson.
And the reason for that is they are my number one news source.
They are my favorite site to go to because they're so good at compiling all the headlines that I need to see.
They write things in such a concise and straightforward manner.
They are, I think, the quintessential prototypical games media site in how they operate.
And they're a small team.
And I love them for that.
I'm recording.
damn damn damn damn damn damn i didn't know that that last part about um take two possibly being a contender to help continue to keep the perfect dark project alive yeah like i i'm i'm so fascinated by what that timeline looks like if perfect dark continued and finally got to that end spot would we have a game that is something that we're all blown away by or would have just like landed with you don't think so no
You know, like, I think I've talked to you and even Mike, right, who's like, no, this game didn't have the legs.
But when I look at that trailer, even though I think so much of that felt a bit too curated as far as, okay, this isn't real gameplay, right?
This is, like, such a guided thing.
I...
love a good immersive sim i love a good you do like first person here's a bunch of gadgets here's some stealth elements here's this here's that and like being able to tackle a level with all these different options at your disposal i miss a deus ex i miss even like going back to
the age of, like, a 007, like, for N64.
With my analog 3D, I've been playing a lot of The World is Not Enough, and even as I've been playing that game, which I know isn't as good as GoldenEye, but that was my 007 game, even as I'm playing that, I'm like, oh, yeah, they give me, like, really cool options to kind of, like, be able to do things in, like, different orders or have these different gadgets to mess around with the world in different ways.
That shit is a level of game design that I really appreciate that I feel like nowadays you don't see on...
that triple-a level anymore i feel like a lot of these games the dishonoreds of the world have kind of faded away and i'd like to see that come back i think there's value there and so i get sad when i remember perfect dark i think could have been that but r.i.p yeah exactly you know you know it's always crazy to think about i i you know can't imagine
Super tough.
