Now, the Bible does tell us about things that happened in olden times, going back to Genesis chapter 6, where there was demonic cohabitation with women and sex between spirit beings and human beings. But the historic position of Christianity from the early church onward has always been consistent. Fallen angels, those who rebelled with Lucifer against God and were cast from the heavens to earth. And then Jesus and John 10.10 define the mission as Satan comes to kill, steal, destroy. Doesn't get any more basic than that. So these are discarnate beings.
