Well, I don't know if he meditated. I don't know what he did in there. But it didn't help his throwing arm any. It didn't increase his passing accuracy any. I can tell you that much.

But Satan is a multifaceted evil being. Man, he's coming at you from every which direction. The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 5.8, the devil is like a lion who is roaring. Walking about seeking whom he may devour. Here's the bottom line. As an exorcist, I want to stay as far as possible away from anything within reason that might open a door to the devil. Why would I be that dumb?

That's what our brains are supposed to be on. Not floating around in the ethereal consciousness of some metaphysical reality. No. Doing good in the world. Being pure, being honest, being just with our neighbors, with our friends, with people we do business with, with everybody in our lives. Loving God and then loving your neighbor as yourself. Why don't we focus on that?
