But I had multiple guys in Chicago, and my first one was Joe Girardi.
And he's my favorite catcher I had.
Jason Veritek was the best catcher I had.
But Girardi was my favorite catcher I had because he helped me get over the hump.
I was with him for one year.
It was the year where I got traded there.
Maybe I'm a bullpen guy.
Maybe I'm a minor league guy.
Maybe I'm an up-and-down guy.
And I was Majenski, basically.
uh waiting for prior to come at that point i think i might have mentioned that last week and and jason and uh joe gerardi taught me how to pitch now he also like he was known for like getting calls he wasn't the best receiver of the of the groups i had but he was known for getting calls and i learned later on he really annoyed
The hitters, because he would always talk.
He was the nicest guy, one of the nicest people I ever played with, one of my favorite teammates ever.
But kind of like the Sean Casey at first base.
He's over there talking to you, giving you compliments.
Well, Girardi and Veritech's probably not saying much because he was a totally different โ
