Would collapsing down the stretch and missing the playoffs constitute a failure of a season for the Penguins?
I'm shocked that the Limitless Express didn't say yes to this question.
You're the one who's been saying, and you look like you might be right in the end, that these guys are the capitals of last year.
I believe they are, yeah.
But wouldn't you say the only reason they exceeded expectations is because they got off to a good start and they kept the band together, which is old guys?
I would say that's part of it, yes.
I can't believe, though, you also said you wanted them to that finishing really low would be good.
So how is finishing ninth not a failure?
Either way, you could say, I wish they were worse.
I wish they were better.
You're a guy who should be saying it's a double failure.
They didn't make the playoffs and they didn't finish last.
That's what you wanted, Limits.
I did want them to finish last.
And now you're saying, oh, this is great if they finish ninth or tenth.
What the hell is going on here, Bob?
You're saying it would be fine with you if they finished ninth or tenth.
That's what you wanted for the Penguins this year was 0-16.
You expressly were rooting against them early in the year.
There's no bandwagon to get on and off.
