Well, I'd love to see Skeens pitch, but I also would like to see him pitch as many games as possible.
It's one day.
It's a Thursday off.
So...
It's weird because obviously when you make up a rotation, you're like, okay, our number one starter is Skeens.
Our number two is Keller, Ashcraft, Chandler, whatever.
You would imagine Carmen Majinski is quote unquote the fifth starter.
The way that I see that they've broken this down and Kelly basically said it was matchup based and just structurally the way they liked it.
The way that I interpret that is they would rather have Skeens and Chandler go back to back from each other, but they don't want to, but Skeens and Keller are considered the top two guys and they want to honor Keller giving them the day two game, whatever.
And they want to put Majinski in the middle of this rotation where it kind of creates a buffer between Keller and Ashcraft right in between.
I don't necessarily agree with it.
I don't care about it either, but I think that's their explanation.
They won't even let him go through the lineup a third time.
They didn't last year.
What makes you think they're going to do it this year?
Well, we know Skeens will, and I imagine that one of Ashcraft and Chandler will as well, and Keller's done it plenty of times.
Well, the way that I maybe didn't say it well enough is I feel like they're kind of trying to hide Majinski in that spot.
In the three spot?
In between Keller and Ashcraft, yeah.
I don't have a good explanation for it.
