It may not happen.
We saw yesterday Colt Emerson of Seattle, a really good young player who's 20, also plays shortstop.
Not nearly the same prospect level as Griffin.
He got $95 million plus more incentives guaranteed for eight years.
He said yes to that.
What do you think most likely will happen?
If you were to advise Connor, based on what you've gone through, based on what you see, I'm sure he wants to play regardless, right?
Right.
I mean, you're exactly right when it comes to a 19-year-old kid.
I mean, that's kind of money that you don't see very often.
You have a chance to get it, yet his agent would have another thing to say about that, I bet, given the years we're talking about beyond arbitration.
