I'd like to look at metrics for how many times a number one hitter comes up with men on base, generally speaking.
Which is why I think that position, if you're number one on the order, you're going to have opportunities.
It may not be in their first inning, but later, depending on how the lineup rotates through and the situations you have, he can come up several times with runners on base.
