Roman Anthony's been somebody that's been thrown around a lot in the Conor Griffin discussions, and he's at about $135 million.
If Griffin was willing to sign on the dotted line for $95 million, I think we'd have a deal.
you know, sort of the problem or sort of the hold up there.
So it's just appraising his value.
And I think part of what makes this unique, guys, is, you know, you can talk about Colt Emerson.
We can talk about Jackson Choreo.
You can talk about Roman Anthony.
Like, Connor Griffin's a different cat.
Like, he's extremely young and he has extremely high upside.
and so i i understand his camp's belief like they don't want him to sign a bad contract they don't want him to go for nothing they don't want to ruin precedent or whatever you know and i understand the pirates standpoint like their idea is if we're going to inherit all of this risk of an eight-year contract we want value and they should want value there's nothing wrong with that so i mean there are just two things that both of these sides are really clinging to
But that's why I go back to my previous answer of saying that there is incentive for Connor Griffin.
