I understand everything you said there, but what I said at the beginning of the season was this season was going to be, I think, defined by how many new people they could insert into their lineup, younger people.

I thought Harrison Brunick, and he will be down the road.

He's only 19.

They have a very good draft, and they have a very good system of young guys who I think are knocking on the door.

I wanted to see them get to a playoff just to give guys like Kendall, Lachinikov, and players like that an opportunity to compete in these kind of things, see where it can take them.

Not to mention, I want to see these guys, the older guys, get one more swing at this because they deserve it after everything they've done.

So...

If they don't make it, I'm going to look at this and say, OK, missed opportunity.

They certainly exceeded what most people thought.

And that's a good thing as they try to kind of rebuild and still contend.

But I think the building blocks are there.

I see them and I see more on the way.

So I think.

This experience for a guy like Ben Kendall all season is going to make him a really good player.

They're going to bring in Horkoff next year.

They're going to bring in Zonin probably next year.

These are young guys who I think are going to make the team.
