This is what we've waited for for so long is if you're going to spend the money, you're not going to be able to buy a team like the Dodgers, like the Red Sox, like the Yankees, like the Mets, and the list goes on and on.

You need a core.

And then when you supplement, you have to do so carefully.

Like $50 million can go a long way if you've got a strong core.

And they spent $50 million this offseason because they knew if you add it to the core, you've got a shot.

I think they're going to make the playoffs.
