I still think they get too much scrutiny.

It is exaggerated.
And I think last season's regression did not help.

So now you've got a lot of promise.
Well, and people have texted in saying things like, hey, maybe he won't pan out.
Maybe he won't.
Key Brian Hayes never became what they thought he would.
Mitch Keller has been that guy.
McCutcheon obviously made good on his deal.
You don't know.
You never know.
You're taking an educated guess.
But these are the kind of bets that smaller market teams need to make.
You're never going to be able to afford an MVP player in the open market.
