Hey, it's Bob Stauffer.
I just wanted to let you know that you can listen to Oilers Now ad-free on Amazon Music, included with Prime.
All right, it's 435 in oil country.
We're asking you whether or not you're a Messi or a Ronaldo guy.
And can Conor McDavid, after watching Messi get a hat-trick last night at the age of 38, do you expect Conor McDavid or Leon Dreisaitl to still be dominant players in the NHL at age 38?
um big ball tyler says congratulations on the weight loss bob from one big guy trying to lose chins to another yeah so i still got a couple more to go just just but it's a decent start uh he adds connor and leon will be dominant until they choose to hang up their skates leon is german engineering and connor doesn't understand what quit makes um
what quit means.
There you go.
You can text us at any time at 780-451-8800.
And keep it coming.
Hmm.
Here we go.
This text comes in from Sam in Vancouver who says, Bob, let's assume we like Babcock's coaching methods and results.
Also, let's assume we agree he's crossed the line more than once and needs to be honest behavior here.
Some might argue that he is a package.
If you take one aspect of his methods, you're rendering him less effective, taking away what potentially has made him successful.
What do you say to that?
I expect, I'm going to tell you right now, this is an ongoing fluid situation.
Assuming that, you know, it proceeds, my expectation is that Mike Badcock is smart, learns from his mistakes, and is a better coach.
But I would say that about all coaches in all situations getting another opportunity.
