So I just started doing the show, and I was doing a play-by-play of the Golden Bears, and I was the SID at the school and was helping out a lot with the marketing as well.

Do you need some cash?

And you said, Bob, I'm just waiting for a friend here to come pick me up.

I'm like, do you want to hop in the truck and warm up?

And you're like, do you have any recollection of this?

So was this before or after you had OD'd, the time where you were really concerned?

Actually, it was just shortly after I overdosed.

Who were the guys, because by the time you were 19, you were the toughest guy in the league, but as a 17- and 18-year-old, who were the heavies in the Western League that the fans would know?
