He spent an off season with the giants, you know, as a camp body, uh, special team stuff is hard to find too much information since he'd been the coordinator.

You can't really find cumulative, like, you know,

net punt and all that stuff but if there's one thing where i'm not gonna judge this guy individually and go look at what he's done but it's more so process like i want john harbaugh who has that special teams background to get his guy unlike the past couple coaches who just kept you know the the retaining one because of uh good word from the giants so i'm happy to get chris horton we don't have a ton to break down on him uh but i'm i guess i'm happy with him and we'll judge him as it goes

And I didn't dislike Michael Gobriel as a special teams coach.

I don't really blame the special teams coach for kickers and punters.

Of course.

Especially guys who have been pros for a long time like Gillian and Gano.

But it's just more so it's like get your own guy.

Right.

Like if you were doing if you did a clean slate, if Michael Gobriel decided to quit coaching or, you know, would like would you try and bring him back out of retirement or would you just get somebody else to go get somebody else in Chris Horton?

We'll just have to wait and see, but I feel pretty comfortable with that hire.

The coaches that the Giants are retaining that we know of, I know as reported, Carmen Brasile is not being retained.

I think he was given the option of like, hey, if you want to go, you can go.

If you want to stay, stay.
