We had ourselves a little bit of a gunfight between John Harbaugh and the Giants before he was even officially the head coach.

And we've got some quotes from Ian O'Connor.

Like I mentioned, you know, he was asked, like, is this going to get done?

And he gives him the shrugs emoji.

I think this Friday night clip from Ian Rappaport basically accumulated it very well.

And basically what he said in it is a few things.

Expected to get done.

News got out of the deal.

This is what happens when news gets out of a deal before it's actually finalized, right?

So, you know, some of the people were a little quick to the trigger to just report that this is done.

Awesome.

Well, we didn't report it.

We just talked about the report.

We were on stream being like, are we allowed to say this is done?

Because we were so confused by the wording of it.

The things they said, they were both using their leverage, right?

So John Harbaugh and the Giants were trying to use their leverage to put things or keep things out of the contract.

That was in there.

It was not about money.

It was about reporting structure, who is able to do what, and how the whole organization is set up.
