Okay, so I'm going to be helping him.

He's going to be helping me.

And whenever we have a disagreeance, you're going to lean on him.

Because at the end of the day, John Harbaugh is not the general manager, even if he does have final roster stay.

He can't run the draft.

The head coach cannot run the draft.

One, it's just a recipe for disaster.

But they don't have enough time to do that, right, to run the whole scouting department, watch all these players.

He needs somebody to rely on that.

So let's say he's relying on that assistant GM to get through this draft.

And then you get to May and say, bam, all right, I want to fire Joe Shane and promote this guy to GM or in a year.

And I think those are real scenarios that could play out.

But again, and that is 100% speculative.

It could be about Tim McDonald and not firing Tim McDonald, but moving him out of the director of player personnel role.

That's a huge role.

in an NFL team and he may want somebody in there to get there.

It could be the scouting director.

It could be firing somebody from the medical staff that the Giants will have just refused to let anybody touch for years and years and years.

So I don't think it was directly like, I don't want to deal with Joe Shane and all that.
